PAWS UP for Wellsville Middle School Students!!! A big PAWS UP for the Wellsville Middle School Students who surprised us on Friday with a truck load of 414 items they had collected for the SPCA shelter animals!! We were definitely surprised and very grateful for all their hard work in collecting such an impressive amount of donations! Thank you to all the students who helped out - The SPCA exists solely on donations and we have now have a lot of happy & thankful dogs & kitties at the shelter!!!! We are planning to bring a few of our furry friends over to visit the students and to thank them in person!!!!

DOG GONE HOT SUMMER DEAL! DOG GONE HOT SUMMER DEAL has ended at ALCO Federal Credit Union! By donating to the SPCA and ALCO members were able to SAVE$$$ By Giving a little - they saved a lot!!! Members got to take 1% off of ALCO Federal Credit Unions' already low secured loan rates when they donated an item for the SPCA...This offer was available at all ALCO branches located in Wellsville, Belmont, Cuba and Friendship they collected over 270lbs of dog food, over 103lbs of Cat food, 22 lbs of dog biscuits, cans of dog & cat food, bags of cat litter, many bags of cat & dogs treats, toys, dishes, blankets, paper towels, cleaning supplies and cash donations all for our furry SPCA friends!!! Alco Credit Union branches will continue to take donations for the SPCA...they also are a drop off location for this years Theme Basket Auction. If you would like to donate a Theme Basket before October 14th - please stop by any ALCO branch to drop your basket off. A huge thank you to everyone that participated in the program and even those people who did not take advantage of the loan offer, but instead donated for the animals! We appreciate it...and PAWS up to ALCO Credit Union Members!!! Also, Better Days has a Chicken Wing Fundraiser for the New Shelter. As of June 1st Better Days has added a $1 surcharge onto every order of their very popular & tasty chicken wings that will be specifically used for building/buying a new shelter for the SPCA. This money is deposited into a special account at Community Bank to be distributed when the project begins. In only a few months we have almost $2000 in the account.
